Clinical Pharmacist
Hi there! I’m Dr. Andre Fernandes, a Board Certified Clinical Pharmacist with Sugar Land Psychological Associates. Beyond my role here, I wear another hat as a Research Pharmacist in the Investigational Drug Service Division at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
My diverse professional background includes stints as a Research Pharmacist at The James Cancer Center at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, the Sylvester Cancer Center at the University of Miami – Miller School of Medicine, and as a Clinical Pharmacist with the West Palm Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
In the academic realm, I’ve made contributions through published book chapters, journal abstracts, and peer reviewed articles. My interests span psychiatry, oncology, ambulatory medicine, and drug development. Additionally, I’ve had the opportunity to share my knowledge as an Adjunct Professor at Santa Luzia Nursing School, teaching undergraduate clinical pharmacology courses.
On a personal note, I’m married to Dr. Derek Ream, and we share our lives with two dogs, Giovani and Annie. Together, we love to travel, cook, attend concerts, watch movies, and collaborate on research .
